TIBCO Software Catalog
TIBCO Software Catalog functions like a centralized system that maintains the track of ownership and metadata for all the software in your software ecosystem (such as websites, libraries, services, data pipelines, and more).
The catalog is based on metadata yaml
files stored with code, then visualized in TIBCO Developer Hub. The catalog helps teams manage and maintain the software they own. Teams gets a uniform view of all their software like services, libraries, websites, pipelines, and more. It further helps you discover all the components of your software.
You can navigate the Catalog from the side panel. The catalog consists of a list of entities. An entity is the fundamental unit of the catalog that shows some piece of your software ecosystem. Entities can take a form of any software type, system, domain, resource, or even users and groups. All entities follow a common data structure, but each entity Kind may have a different relationship to others, schema or semantics. To learn more about the catalog, see Backstage Documentation.
