Managing Resources

In TIBCO Control Plane, resources are configurations that are shared among Infrastructure Components, Capabilities, and applications of capabilities. These are resources such as File storage, Ingress Controller. You can specify the configuration details for resources at one place and then you can reference the resource when provisioning capabilities or deploying applications.

Resources tab lists all the resources used by capabilities and applications.

Adding Resources

Before you begin

  • You must have already set up Kubernetes cluster infrastructure such as file storage and ingress controller, refer Setting up Kubernetes Infrastructure.

  • You must have Data plane Manager permission to add, edit, and delete resources.

    Procedure

  1. Specify the configuration information for the resource.

  2. Click Add.

You can view the resource added in the resources list. The Linked Capabilities column displays the capabilities using the resource.

Editing Resources

To edit the resource, click the Edit icon next to the resource name. You cannot edit a resource if it is linked to a capability.

Deleting Resources

To delete the resource, click the Delete icon next to the resource name. You cannot delete a resource if it is linked to a capability.
