Viewing and Managing Groups in the Catalog

If you select the Group from Kind dropdown, a catalog list of groups opens in the catalog table with different columns. There are Common Searching and Managing Features in the Catalog that can help you find the group you want to manage.

You can search the key information of a group by using the following columns.

Group Name

This column shows the list of groups present in the catalog. Click any group name from the column to view the following details.

  • Group Overview - The overview tab is segmented into the following details.

    • About the Organization - You can view the group details like email information, parent, and associated child groups. Click the child group name to view its details. To edit the About Organization, click the Edit Metadata icon. This takes you to the source repository location of the group, where you can make the changes. To view the changed metadata of the domain, click the Schedule Entity Refresh icon.

    • Ownership - You can view the count of Services, APIs, Components, Systems, and so on, the group owns. To view the complete list in the catalog, click any entity name. Use the toggle switch to view the direct relations or aggregated relations of entities within the group.

    • Members - You can view the members of the group with their email information. To view the user information in detail, click the name of the user.

Note: From TIBCO Control Plane, you can manage the group permissions of TIBCO Developer Hub. All the assigned permissions of the group also apply to its members. You cannot modify the individual member permissions as they are part of the group.
