Provisioning Service Mesh on Data Plane

The Service Mesh capability is scoped to the data plane primary namespace and application namespaces, which are configured within the data plane.

Before you begin

Ensure that the following prerequisites are complete:

  • The data plane is up and running.

  • The observability service is installed.

    Procedure
  1. In the TIBCO Control Plane, click Data Planes from the left navigation.
  2. On the Data Plane card, click Go to Data Plane.

  3. Next, click Provision a Capability.

  4. On the Provision Service Mesh card, click Start.

  5. Select the checkbox to agree to the End User License Agreement.

  6. Finally, click Provision Capability.

ResultYou can see that the Capability card is added on the Data Plane details page. When the capability provisioning is successful, you can see the status on the card as green.
