AppSpaces

An AppSpace is a collection of one or more AppNodes. A domain contains one or more AppSpaces. AppSpaces span multiple physical machines across networks. An AppSpace manifests on the physical machine as a predefined folder structure that contains information about the applications deployed in that domain. One or more than one application can be deployed to an AppSpace. For more information, see AppSpaces.

On the Domain card, click AppSpace to access the AppSpaces in the selected domain. On the AppSpace Details tab, the available AppSpaces are listed along with the following data:

Field Description
Name The named instance of the AppSpace.
Status The status provides the information about the success or failure of each AppSpace in the domain. For example, Running, Stopped, Unreachable, Deploying, or so on.
Deployment State The deployment status provides the information about the success or failure of each deployed process in the application.
MinNodes The minimum number of AppNodes for this AppSpace.
Applications The count of application instances deployed to the AppSpace. Click the Application count to view the application instances.
AppNodes The count of AppNodes in the AppSpace. Click the AppNode count to view the AppNodes in the selected AppSpace.
Agents The count of BWAgents associated with the AppSpace. Click the Agent count to view the Agents.

Additional Details of the Selected AppSpace

The header displays the AppSpace name along with the AppSpace status next to it. Click Details next to the AppSpace status to view additional details like the AppNodes, Deployment State and the Description of the selected AppSpace. The AppSpace page displays the following AppSpace-specific details:

Field Description
Application The Application tab lists all the ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks application instances deployed to the selected AppSpace along with the following information:

  • Name: The named instance of the application deployed to the selected AppSpace. Click the Application Name to navigate to the Application Details page.

  • Version: The version of the application instance.

  • Status: The information about the success or failure of each application. For example, Running, Stopped, Unreachable, Deploying, and so on.

  • Deployment State: The information about the deployment status of each application with the selected AppSpace.

  • Profile: The application profile associated with the selected AppSpace.
AppNodes The AppNodes tab lists all the AppNodes comprising the selected AppSpace along with the following information:
  • Name: The named instance of the AppNode. Click the AppNode Name to navigate to the AppNode Details page.

  • Status: The information about the success or failure of each AppNode in the selected AppSpace. For example, Running, Stopped, Unreachable, Deploying, or so on.

  • Config State: The information about the configuration status of each AppNode with the selected AppSpace.

  • Uptime: The number of days and hours that the AppNode instance has been running.

  • Machines: The named instance of the machine on which the AppNode instance is running. Click the Machine name to navigate to the Machine Details page.
Agents The Agents tab lists all the BWAgents associated with the selected AppSpace along with the following information:

  • Name: The named instance of the BWAgent associated with the selected AppSpace. Click the Agent Name to navigate to the Agent Details page.

  • Status: The information about the success or failure of each BWAgent. For example, Running, Stopped, Unreachable, Deploying, or so on.

  • Version: The version of the BWAgent network.

  • Deployment State: The information about the deployment status of each BWAgent with the selected AppSpace.

  • Config State: The information about the configuration status of each BWAgent with the selected AppSpace.

  • Installations: The path where the BWAgent has been installed.
Machines The Machines tab lists all the machines on which the selected AppSpace is running, along with the following information:

  • Name: The named instance of the machine on which the selected AppSpace is running. Click the Machine Name to navigate to the Machine Details page.

  • Status: The information about the success or failure of each machine. For example, Running, Stopped, Unreachable, Deploying, or so on.

  • Operation System: The operating system along with its version on which the machine is running.

  • IP Address: The IP address of each machine.

  • AppNodes: The count of AppNodes running on each machine. Click the AppNode count to navigate to the AppNode Details page.

  • Agents: The count of BWAgents associated with each machine. Click the Agent count to navigate to the Agent Details page.
Installations The Installations tab displays the details of ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6 home using which AppSpace is created along with the following information:

  • Name: The named instance of the installation file for the selected AppSpace.

  • Machines: The named instance of the machine on which the AppSpace is running. Click the Machine name to navigate to the Machines page.

  • Agents: The named instance of the BWAgent associated with each AppSpace. Click the Agent name to navigate to the Agent Details page.

  • Location: The path where the ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6 product has been installed.
Command History The Command History tab displays the details of the commands run for the selected AppSpace along with the following information:

  • Command Name: The named instances of the commands used for the selected AppSpace.

  • Command Params: The information that the command needs to run.

  • Execution Status: The information about the success or failure of each command after execution.

  • Timestamp: The date and time on which the command has been run.

  • User: The name of the user who has run the command.
