Upgrading TIBCO Developer Hub Capability

When a new version of TIBCO Developer Hub is available, you can see an Upgrade available message on its card. You must upgrade to access new features but your data is safe.

Before you begin

You must have Manage Capability permission. For more information, see Permissions.

    Procedure

  1. Click the Data Planes menu from the sidebar and click Go to Data Plane to navigate to the data plane details page.

  2. To upgrade a capability on the capability card, click Upgrade available. The Capability Upgrades tab displays.

  3. To upgrade to the new capability version, click Upgrade now next to the version that you want to upgrade to. Click Yes, upgrade to confirm. The Capability Upgrade wizard opens.

  4. On the Upgrade version, you can view the capability version to which you are upgrading. Click Next.

  5. On Confirmation, you can confirm the upgrade version of the capability and view the details of the previous version. Click Upgrade capability and click Yes, upgrade to confirm.

    Note: Upgrading to a new version of TIBCO Developer Hub overrides the currently installed custom version.

  6. On Upgrading your TIBCO Developer Hub, wait a few minutes to upgrade the capability. To see an installed upgraded version instance, click Go to Developer Hub. To see the upgraded version details, click Go back to the Capability Instance page.

What to do nextAfter completing the upgrade, you can see the message Upgrade Completed Successfully. On TIBCO Developer Hub Details, you can view upgraded version details, such as developer hub name, version name, host name, and Kubernetes secret object name.
