Viewing Application Status

You can view the health status of applications and number of instances from the data plane details page. The Status column in the Applications list displays the runtime status of applications deployed on the data plane. The Instances column displays the number of instances of an application.

The following table displays the possible application health statuses:

Status Description
Running The application is running.
Scaling If you scale the application, the status becomes Scaling until the application reaches to the desired number of replicas.
Warning The application is partially scaled up. At least one replica is running, but the number of running replicas is less than desired number of replicas.
Failure If there is no running replica of the application, the status becomes failure.
Unknown

Application is in Unknown status in one of the following scenarios:

  • If there is a connectivity problem between TIBCO Control Plane and Monitor Agent.
  • If the Monitor agent cannot make a connection with an application.

  • The Monitor Agent does not recognize the application as been deployed to the data plane.
Stopped Application is stopped.
