Configuring Proxy Server
You can use a proxy server to route your outbound requests through the proxy server. Using a proxy server helps you to increase security and privacy for your data. By default the proxy configuration is disabled. You can add, edit, or delete Proxy server configuration used by a data plane from the Proxy & Custom Certificate Secret tab on the Data plane Configuration page.

You must have Data plane manager permission to add, edit, or delete Proxy server configuration.

The tunnel must be in a connected state.
Adding Proxy Server
- Procedure

On the data plane details page, click Data Plane configuration.
- Click the Proxy & Custom Certificate Secret tab.
- Click Configure Proxy.
- Specify HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY, and optionally NO_PROXY fields.
- Click Configure.
You can view the Proxy configuration added.
Editing Proxy Server
- Procedure

On the data plane details page, click Data Plane configuration.
- Click the Proxy & Custom Certificate Secret tab.
- To edit the proxy, click the Edit icon
in the right corner.
- Update the fields and click Save.
- Copy or download the commands displayed on the screen. You must run these commands in your Kubernetes cluster to update the Proxy.
Deleting Proxy Server
- Procedure

On the data plane details page, click Data Plane configuration.
- Click the Proxy & Custom Certificate Secret tab.
- To delete the proxy, click the Delete icon
in the right corner.
- Copy or download the commands displayed on the screen. You must run these commands in your Kubernetes cluster to delete the proxy.
