Basic Authentication

Basic authentication is a security policy that ensures that a consumer request is validated based on the credentials in the HTTP header.

Basic authentication is applicable to the following endpoints:
  • AMX Service Binding Instance (SOAP/HTTP, REST/HTTP)
  • AMX WebApp Component Instance
