Upgrading TIBCO Administrator Plug-in

Procedure

  1. Repeat steps 2-9 for all machines on which TIBCO Administrators are running. Ensure that the Installation Profile selected is TIBCO Adminstrator Plugin for TIBCO ActiveMatrix Policy Director.
    Note: For TIBCO ActiveMatrix Policy Director Governance Agent there is no patch ID. You only need to install the service pack.
  2. While TIBCO Administrator and TIBCO Hawk agent are running, go to <TIBCO_HOME>\tra\<TRA_VERSION>\bin, run the following command:
    wrap.exe --propFile <TIBCO_HOME>\tra\<TRA_VERSION>\bin\PDBWPlugin.tra -domain <domainName> -cleanup
  3. Shut down all TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks engines, TIBCO Administrator, TIBCO Hawk Agent, and TIBCO Designer before installing the service pack.
  4. Extract the service pack to a temporary directory different from the one in which the product installer archive was copied.
  5. Navigate to the temporary directory where the service pack archive file was extracted.
  6. Invoke the TIBCO Universal Installer, selecting the existing <TIBCO_HOME> to which the service pack needs to be applied.
  7. If the installation profile selected in step 6 included TIBCO ActiveMatrix Policy Director Governance Agent for TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Service Pack-001, run TIBCO Configuration Tool from <TIBCO_HOME>/tct/1.2. .
  8. After the installation is complete, run the wrap command.
  9. While TIBCO Administrator and TIBCO Hawk agent are running, go to <TIBCO_HOME>\tra\<TRA_VERSION>\bin, and run the following wrap command:
    wrap.exe --propFile <TIBCO_HOME>\tra\<TRA_VERSION>\bin\PDBWPlugin.tra -domain <domainName>
