TIBCO ActiveMatrix Policy Director allows users to manage and enforce cross-functional requirements such as security, monitoring, and compliance independent of their implementation and deployment. The result is dynamic policy-based SOA (service-oriented architecture) governance.

Through both embedded agents and intermediary proxy applications, Policy Director can inspect, reject, log, transform, and redirect messages. These capabilities allow Policy Director to enforce a broad range of policies.
