Upgrading the Governance Agent for ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks

Procedure

  1. Repeat steps 2-6 for all machines on which the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks engines are running. Ensure that the Installation Profile selected is TIBCO ActiveMatrix Policy Director Governance Agent for TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks.
    Note: For TIBCO ActiveMatrix Policy Director Governance Agent there is no patch ID. You only need to install the service pack.
  2. Shut down all TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks engines, TIBCO Administrator, TIBCO Hawk Agent, and TIBCO Designer before installing the service pack.
  3. Extract the service pack to a temporary directory different from the one in which the product installer archive was copied.
  4. Navigate to the temporary directory where the service pack archive file was extracted.
  5. Perform the following steps:
    1. Invoke the TIBCO Universal Installer.
    2. Select the existing <TIBCO_HOME> of TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks to which the service pack needs to be applied.
  6. Run TIBCO Configuration Tool from <TIBCO_HOME>/tct/1.2.
