Configuring the Repository

To configure the repository, perform the following steps:

Procedure

1. Enter the license key and click Validate.

2. Click Start Configuration.
3. Accept the agreement by clicking I agree.

4. Enter the Repository ID. Click Generate if you want a system-generated ID or create your own ID following the listed rules.

5. Enter the Repository label.

6. Click Next.

7. On the TIBCO EBX™ directory configuration page, create the admin user credentials.

   Note: The Admin username must be "admin" and the password must be "admin". If required, you can change the password after importing the Dev Artifacts.

8. Click Next. The Configuration Summary page is displayed.

9. Click Install the Repository.

10. Login from the newly created admin user.

11. Click Administration section > Directory > Roles and create the “Tech Admin” role.

12. Assign this role to the admin user through User menu by selecting the “Tech Admin” role and clicking Associate.

13. Click Administration and select Add-ons registration. The Registered add-ons page opens.

14. Click to add a new add-on.

15. Add the following add-ons:

    •

    TIBCO EBX™ Digital Asset Manager

    •

    TIBCO EBX™ Data Exchange

    Note: The TIBCO EBX™ Data Exchange Add-on requires a license key which you can get it from license file.

16. Click Save and close.
