Beware of Network Boundaries Rendezvous software can use a combination of multicast, broadcast and point‑to‑point network messages. If your network includes bridges and routers, some of these messages may not cross segment boundaries. Sometimes the network equipment can be configured to pass and block exactly the right traffic. In other situations, you may need Rendezvous routing daemon to pass broadcast and multicast traffic across wide-area network boundaries. Consult your system administrator or network administrator.
