1.

Select the appropriate OS in Table 3, and enter the command line.

The parameter for option -target is a device, not a path, and is typically “/” .

AIX, Linux, zLinux

sudo rpm -ivh <RPM>

To remove:
sudo rpm -e <RPM>

Solaris

gunzip -c <TGZ> | tar xvf -;
pkgadd -d . TIBrv

To remove:
pkgrm TIBrv
