Adding a library server

You can use the mobile application to add a library from TIBCO Spotfire® Server that you access from your mobile device.

Perform this task from Spotfire for Apple iOS on your mobile device.

Vorbereitungen

  • You must have a wifi or data connection to the library.
  • You must have login credentials to the Spotfire Server containing the library.
  • You must have the web address for the library.
    Tipp: You can test the web address in a desktop web browser to make sure it is correct. If you do not know the web address, talk to your server administrator.
    Anmerkung: For Spotfire Server installation versions 7.0 and earlier, the web address ends in /SpotfireWeb by default. For Spotfire Server installation versions 7.5 and later, the web address ends in /spotfire by default. The web address is case-sensitive. 
    Examples:
Spotfire Server version 7.0 or earlier:  https://myserver.example.com/SpotfireWeb
Spotfire Server version 7.5 or later:    https://myserver.example.com/spotfire

Prozedur

  1. On your mobile device, tap the Spotfire Analyst icon.
  2. If the sidebar is not displayed, tap the three-line menu icon (three-line menu icon).
    The sidebar is displayed.
  3. In the sidebar menu, tap Add Library.
    The Add Library Server view is displayed.
  4. Provide the full web address for the Spotfire library. 
    Examples:
https://myserver.example.com/SpotfireWeb   
   (Spotfire 7.0 or earlier)
https://myserver.example.com/spotfire      
   (Spotfire 7.5 or later)
  5. Optional: Provide a Server Display Name to display in the sidebar.
    If you do not provide a server display name, the server address is displayed in the sidebar.
  6. Provide your User Name and Password.
    These credentials should be those that you use to log in to Spotfire.

Ergebnisse

You should now see the library server listed in the sidebar menu. The app attempts to connect and display the library of items.
