Migration and Compatibility

Version 2.10.0 of TIBCO Spotfire® Deployment Kit for Apple iOS is compatible with, and was built and tested with, Xcode version 9.4 on an Apple development system using MacOS 10.13.

  • Version 2.10.0 of the Spotfire Deployment Kit for Apple iOS recommends Xcode version 9.4.
  • Version 2.10.0 of the Spotfire Deployment Kit for Apple iOS targets iOS version 10 and higher. Suppport for targeting earlier versions of iOS has been removed.

If the app is used in iOS version 11, you must add the entitlement for keychain sharing for the app in Xcode. See TIBCO Spotfire® Deployment Kit for Apple iOS help for instructions.

Compatibility

  • TIBCO Spotfire® Server and Spotfire® Web Player versions prior to 7.5 are no longer supported by apps built by this deployment kit, due to the change to use modern WKWebView instead of UIWebView.
