Granting service access

On Windows computers, you must grant Log on as a service to the Spotfire Statistics Services service account that you specified when you installed the Manager node.

Procedure

  1. On the task bar, clickStart >Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy.
  2. In the Local Security Settings dialog box, under Security Settings, expand Local Policies, select User Rights Assignment, and then double click Log on as a service.
  3. In the Log on as a service Properties dialog box, click Add User or Group, and then enter the service account you specified in step 12 of Running the installer.
