Installation Overview

This section gives an overview of the installation. You can use the GUI mode, Console mode, and the Silent mode for installing the TIBCO Silver Fabric Enabler for ActiveSpaces Enterprise Edition.

Basic steps for installing TIBCO Silver Fabric Enabler for ActiveSpaces Enterprise Edition:

1.	Download the installation package from https://edelivery.tibco.com

2.	Extract the files into a temporary folder.

3.	Launch the Installer with GUI Mode, Console Mode or Silent Mode as described in the subsequent sections.

4.	After the installation, ensure that SilverFabric_as_container_<product_version>_gridlib.zip are extracted at SFAS_HOME\gridlib.

5.	Get the compressed distribution and the enabler files. Refer section Postinstallation for more details.
