Fault Tolerance for the Messaging Service

Hawk Agent uses an EMS Server as a means to communicate with its components. It is likely that a server might be down sometimes and it would be difficult to maintain communication with the components. To prevent such a break down in the services, you can use the fault tolerance mechanism. With this mechanism, you can configure a primary and a secondary EMS Server. When the primary server is unavailable, the secondary server takes over and the process flow is maintained. When the EMS FT url is provided, the EMS hostname and port are picked up from the url. Format of the url is as follows:

Format:

<protocol>://<hostname 1>:<port number 1>(comma)<protocol>://<hostname 2>:<port number 2>

For example:

tcp://192.0.2.0:7222,tcp://198.51.100.0:7222

The value of the EMS FT Url is blank by default.

You can provide the EMS FT Url as a value in the EMS FT Url property.
