Rotate by (in degrees)

 

Specifies the column to use for defining how many degrees the markers should be rotated. The rotation can be clockwise or counter-clockwise. A full rotation is 360 degrees, and a value of 361 is interpreted as 1 degree.

For example, when specifying an arrow as the marker shape, marker rotation can be useful to indicate directions of motion:

The legend in this example shows that the selected marker shape is . Then a 90 degree clockwise rotation displays the marker as . If you instead select    as the marker shape to use in the scatter plot, a 90 degree rotation displays the marker as .

Note: Markers are not displayed for null values.

Clockwise

Rotates the markers clockwise.

Counter-clockwise

Rotates the markers counter-clockwise.
