If you are working with streaming data from TIBCO Spotfire Data Streams, you can configure alert rules for your streaming data tables in the alert web user interface.
Opening the alert rules user interface:
Right-click the visualization containing the streaming data table you want to create or edit an alert rule for.
Select Alerts for streaming data from the menu.
Response: A web browser is opened, displaying the Alert Rule List panel, with the data table from the visualization pre-selected.
You can now view and edit existing alert rules, or add new alert rules.

Note: If you are working with multiple data tables in a visualization, it is the main data table that will decide which data table will be pre-selected in the Alert Rule List panel. In a KPI chart, the main data table for the active KPI will be pre-selected, and in a map chart, the trellis layer data table will be pre-selected.
