You can change the order of the filters in the filters panel, either by moving them as you like, or by sorting them in alphabetical order.
To move a filter:
In the filters panel, click on a filter and drag it to another position.
Response: A horizontal black line appears, indicating where the filter will be placed.
Drop the filter where you want to place it.
Comment: You cannot move a filter to another data table.
To sort the filters and groups in a data table:
In the filters panel, right-click somewhere inside the data table whose filters you want to sort. Avoid clicking inside a created filter group since that will allow you to sort only the filters in that group.
Select Sort Filters and Groups from the pop-up menu.
Select whether you want to sort the filters and groups in Ascending or Descending alphabetical order.
Response: The filters and groups within the data table are sorted according to your selection. Note that it is only the actual filter groups that are sorted; filters within a filter group will not be sorted. To filter within a filter group, see below.
To sort the filters within a filter group:
In the filters panel, right-click on the filter group that you want to sort.
Select Sort Filters from the pop-up menu. (If you click on the filter group heading, select Sort Filters In Group from the menu).
Select whether you want to sort the filters in Ascending or Descending alphabetical order.
Response: The filters in the selected filter group are sorted according to your selection.
