This dialog is used to add a column, from the columns returned from a query to an external system, as a result column.
Note: The column information that you enter in this dialog must match the information that is returned from the external system, for that column. If there is a mismatch between the column name or data type information that you enter and the metadata returned from the external system, the custom query will fail.

Name |
The name of the column that you want to include as a result column. The column name that you specify must match the column name that is returned from the external system. Note: You cannot use this option to change the name of a result column. To change the name of a column in the resulting custom query table, do so in the Views in Connection dialog, after you have finished creating the custom query. |
Data type |
The data type of the column that you want to include as a result column. The data type that you enter must match the actual data type of the column returned from the external system. |
