An external action is an action that can be configured to send data or information from your Spotfire analysis to an external system. Read more in What are Actions?
For security reasons, the Review external action dialog is shown if you try to run an external action that has not been trusted before. If you have the appropriate permissions, you can make the decision to trust the action yourself.
Note: It is important to only trust items that you are certain come from a reliable source. Read more about trust and security in Manage Trust.
If you decide to trust the signer, instead of the specific action, then all future external actions or new versions of an action from that signer will automatically be trusted.
You can change your trust settings at any time. See Manage Trust for more information.
