Duplicating a layer

One way to add a layer to a map chart is to duplicate an existing layer. You can duplicate layers from any map chart in the analysis, and using any client.

Procedure

In the Visualization properties panel, select the layer of interest, and, from the context menu, select Duplicate layer.

You can also duplicate layers from the visualization properties popover or dialog. In the web client, click to select the layer of interest in the visualization properties popover and click Duplicate layer. In the installed client, you can open the visualization properties dialog, go to the Layers page and click to select the layer of interest, and then click Duplicate. If there are more map charts in the analysis you can also select to duplicate a Layer from another map chart here.
The duplicated layer is added to the map chart.
Optionally, move the new layer to a new position and update its properties.
