Hiding the column header for a dynamic item
You can decide to either hide the name of one column containing dynamic items, to only hide the first one, or to hide the entire header row.
About this task
Note: Some of the functionality
described here can only be authored or accessed using the installed Spotfire
client.
Before you begin
Procedure
- At the top of the visualization properties panel, select the graphical items for which you want to hide the name.
- Go to the Appearance tab.
- Under Name in header, select Hide.
Hiding the header row in a graphical table
- Select the graphical table in the visualization properties panel.
- Go to the Appearance tab.
- Under Column headers, select to Show all column headers, Hide all column headers, or to only Hide the first one. The first one means the row header name. This is the left-most header in the header row, shown above the column containing the row headers in the graphical table. By default, the row header name is the name of the column on the row axis. If the row axis has a hierarchy of columns, then the row header name is the column at the lowest level in the hierarchy.
Tip: In the installed client, you can also right-click the
graphical table, select
Properties, and then go to
Appearance and clear
Header row.
