Sorting the combination chart

You can select a series to sort the X-axis by in a combination chart.

About this task

When you sort, the bars or the line in a series are sorted from the highest to the lowest value.

In the image, there is a combination chart with three series; one bar series and two line series. The three combination charts at the bottom show the results when sorting it by respective series.

Procedure

Right-click the combination chart, and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
In the installed client visualization properties dialog, go to the Appearance page. In the web client popover, click Layout and sorting.
Under Sort x-axis by, select the series to sort by.

Tip: You can also expand the X-axis card in the visualization properties panel and select the series to sort by under Sort by.

Tip: If you want to sort a series from the lowest to the highest value, place the cursor on the X-axis, and click the area that is highlighted. Then select Reverse scale in the popover.
