Troubleshooting Compiling the Samples

If an error occurs during compilation, use this procedure to troubleshoot the sample.

Perform this task on the development computer where you are compiling samples.
This task assumes you received the error 
[ERROR] The goal you specified requires a project to execute but there is no POM in this directory.

Prerequisites

You should be in PluginExampleProject, and there should be a pom.xml file in that folder.

Procedure

  • Verify that you invoked Maven from the correct directory.
