Upgrading the Enabler Version

You can upgrade your component to use higher version of Silver Fabric Enabler for WebSphere Application Server, by using the steps listed in this section.

1. Go to Stacks > Components and identify the component that you want to upgrade.
2. Click the Actions icon associated with the component you want to update and select Change Enabler.
3. Select the target enabler version from the drop-down and click OK. Note that you cannot downgrade a component.
4. Click the component Actions menu icon again, click Publish Changes , and then click OK to publish the selected component.
5. After upgrade, select Engines > Engines page if upgraded component needs a restart. If so, click Restart Component from the respective component actions.
