Copying Distribution Files

The distribution archives may be obtained from either the installation media or from the TIBCO official download site.

TIBCO official download site is https://download.tibco.com.

There are specific sets of distribution files for each operating system platform that will be used as a deployment target. The distribution files ensure the proper TIBCO product installer is used during deployment. Choose the sets of zipped archives for your intended deployment target platforms. The rollup zip archive must be downloaded and extracted.

Procedure

  1. Download the required platform specific rollup archive.
  2. Unzip (extract) the downloaded archive into a temporary directory.
    All the distribution archives required for that platform are extracted to that temporary directory.
  3. Paste the extracted content, distribution grid library archives in SILVERFABRIC_HOME/webapps/livecluster/deploy/resources/gridlib/.
    Note: Do not paste the platform archive file, and the rollup file directly to the directory: SILVERFABRIC_HOME/webapps/livecluster/deploy/resources/gridlib/

    After implementation of TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.9.0, there are no TIBCO Runtime Agent common roll-up files. You need to copy the distribution gridlib files directly from TIBCO official download site, for the specific product. Then copy the distribution grid library archives to the Silver Fabric gridlib directory.

  4. Download the TIBCO Adapter for Files distribution from the TIBCO official downlaod site.
  5. Copy it directly to SILVERFABRIC_HOME/webapps/livecluster/deploy/resources/gridlib/ without extracting it.

    Alternatively, the distribution files may be dropped into any directory accessible to Silver Fabric as long as it is specified for the Silver Fabric Administrator. Refer to the Silver Fabric documentation for more information on how you may set another location for the distribution files.
