  • Installation Overview
    The installer allows you to run in GUI, console, or silent modes. Each mode is supported on all platforms.
  • Universal Installer Types
    Two installation types are available with TIBCO universal installer.
  • Installation Requirements
    Installation of this TIBCO Silver Fabric Enabler requires appropriate permissions on the TIBCO Silver Fabric Broker. Before you run the installer on your Microsoft Windows or UNIX system, you must log in as a user with appropriate permissions, and your system must meet the hardware and software requirements.
  • Installer Log Files
    The installer log file tibco_universal_installer.timestamp.username_install.log is written to the .TIBCO/install_timestamp folder of the user’s home directory.
  • Hardware and Software Requirements
    Specific platform, software, and enough system memory and disk space are required by the installation. Review these requirements before you start the installation.
  • Grid Libraries
    The Grid Libraries can be divided into two groups: Enablers and Distributions.
  • Installation Steps
    To run TIBCO Silver Fabric Enabler, you need to set up a TIBCO Silver® Fabric cloud environment.
  • Post-Installation Tasks
    You must copy Grid Libraries to the SILVERFABRIC_HOME\webapps\livecluster\deploy\resources\gridlib directory to avoid a server restart of the Broker.
  • Uninstalling using the TIBCO Universal Installer
    You can uninstall this product by running TIBCO universal installer, which allows you to uninstall all products in TIBCO_HOME or select the products to uninstall.
