Introduction 

TIBCO Silver Fabric is a business optimization platform for
delivering key cloud computing characteristics to your data
center. This private cloud can be used for running applications
within standard application servers, middleware/integration
infrastructure, web servers, independent software vendor
applications, or standalone executables.

TIBCO Silver Fabric Enabler for Spotfire Web Player accelerates
dynamic and scalable provisioning of TIBCO Spotfire Web Player
instances by providing for simplified configuration and
publishing of all necessary components needed for operation in
the Cloud.

Supported Platforms

   Microsoft Windows Server
      2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2 64-bit on x86-64

Additional Information 

   When using Java 1.7, your operating sytem must meet Oracle's 
   system requirements, including version and patch level.   
   
   It is recommended that Engine installations only support one Engine
   instance per CPU.
   
   Silver Fabric releases support operating systems versions for which
   the applicable vendor provides both active support and standard 
   support. Active support means that bug fixes and security fixes
   are provided on a timely basis.
       
   Standard support means that these fixes are provided as part of
   the vendor's base support package, without requiring any additional
   surcharge. This minimum level of support is currently met by the
   following OS vendor support levels:
       
       Microsoft: Mainstream Support
       Sun: Vintage Phase 1 Support
       RedHat: Maintenance and Errata Support
       Novell: Maintenance Phase Support
       TIBCO may change this operating system version support 
       policy in the future at its option, at any time, without 
       prior notice, due to changes in OS vendor support policies
       or other technical or business considerations.
