LiveView Project Generator

TIBCO Service Performance Manager provides readymade sample LiveView projects for TIBCO ActiveMatrix, TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks, and TIBCO Hawk schema. You can use these sample LiveView projects to view pre-configured dashboards.

However, if you modify the schema to add new dimensions, measurements, or attributes, or create a completely new schema altogether for monitoring an application, then you need to create a new LiveView project.

Creating a new LiveView project in accordance to the SPM schema can become a tedious task. Using the LiveView Project Generator utility (tibspmgenerator4lv.exe or .sh), you can easily do this task. It is located at SPM_HOME/adapters/liveview/lv-projectgenerator/.

LiveView Project Generator creates one (or many) LiveView projects, each confirming to the input SPM schema. The projects adhere to the adapter for TIBCO StreamBase LiveView. The generated projects have all the relevant entries of dependent jar files in sbd.sbconf.
