ActiveMatrix Nodes

In an ActiveMatrix environment, the nodes have an ActiveMatrix service probe installed and enabled on them.

The service probe waits for a service to be initiated and relays the information to the SPM Server through the TIBCO Enterprise Message Service server.

The ActiveMatrix development nodes send time-related facts, whereas the ActiveMatrix Administrator nodes send health monitoring facts, such as life cycle information on the ActiveMatrix nodes. The ActiveMatrix development nodes can only publish to the server. The ActiveMatrix administrator nodes can publish, as well as subscribe to the messages on the server.
