Filtering Alerts

You can filter the alerts from the Show Live Alerts or Show Alerts from Past buttons on the System Alerts page.

Clicking Show Live Alerts in the filtering area results in clearing the snapshot filter, and the most-recent 1000 live alerts generated in the last 24 hours are displayed on the page.
Show Alerts
The time slider helps you filter alerts from a specific time period.
Note: If you select alerts using the check boxes and click Clear Alerts at the end of the System Alerts table, the selected alerts are cleared from the table. In this case, the list of the most-recent 1000 alerts may contain some older alerts. Cleared alerts are seen as disabled rows in the table.

Procedure

  1. Click the Show Alerts from Past button.
  2. Adjust the time slider to select the start and end time. The slider window is for last two weeks.
  3. Specify additional filters, such as Severity, Schema Name, and Rule Name by selecting the appropriate items from the lists.
  4. Click Filter to see the alerts within the selected time range and severity level for the specified schema and rule.
