This dialog is used to specify which connection data source to use when you are adding a new data connection based on a shared data source. It is also used when you are replacing the data source of an existing data connection.
Note: You cannot use a data source specified in Information Designer as a connection data source. Those data sources are used solely for setting up information links.
Navigate through the folders, and select the connection data source you want to use. Information about the selected connection data source is displayed to the right of the list of folders and data sources. Which library folders you have access to is controlled by group privileges. Contact your Spotfire administrator if you cannot reach all the necessary data sources.
You can search for a connection data source in the library by entering a name, or part of a name in the search field in the upper right corner of the dialog, and then pressing Enter. All connection data sources matching your search string will then be listed. See Searching the Library for more information about search expressions.
