TIBCO® Enterprise Runtime for R 6.0

The TIBCO Enterprise Runtime for R engine is included with your installation of Spotfire Analyst. If you have a Spotfire Server with a node running TIBCO Enterprise Runtime for R - Server Edition (the TERR service), then you can share advanced analytics with Business Author and Consumer users. TERR is also available on TIBCO Cloud™ Spotfire®.

Important: * If you plan to run the TERR console on RHEL 8, CentOS 8, or SUSE Enterprise Linux 15, then before installing TERR, you must first install the library libtinfo.so.5, which TERR requires to run on those operating systems.

For RHEL 8 and CentOS 8, install the package ncurses-compat-libs.
For SUSE Enterprise Linux, install the package libncurses5.
For Debian, install the package libtinfo5.

Note: 64-bit operating system strongly recommended.

Optional: Spotfire	TERR is included in an installation of Spotfire; however, you can run TERR as a console application apart from Spotfire.

³ The following packages supplied with TERR require a bit-matching (32 bit or 64 bit) version of Java and must have the JAVA_HOME environment variable set to the location of a tested version of Java.
