Adding a Role

If you need to assign a role for a user or group in the Spotfire Metrics Modeler, follow these steps.

Prerequisites

  • You must have specified either groups or users.
  • You must have at least one item to assign to, such as a feed.
Perform this task from the Users tab.

Procedure

  1. Click Manage Roles.
    Note: The Edit and Delete functions are currently not available.
  2. Click Manage Roles.
  3. From the first drop-down list, click User or Group for which the role will apply.
  4. From the following drop-down list, click the User or Group name.
  5. From the list, click the role to assign, and then click Save.
    Note: Depending on the selected role, you can further define access to functionality in particular areas.
