Adding a Connection

When you identify a compatible server to use with TIBCO Spotfire Metrics, you can connect to the server in the Spotfire Metrics Modeler.

Perform this task in the Connection Manager, which is found by clicking the File tab. The Connection Manager is also displayed each time you start the Spotfire Metrics Modeler.

Procedure

  1. In the Connection Manager, click Add Connection.
  2. Provide the following information.
    Option Description
    Title The server title, to appear in the Manage Server Connections list. The title can contain spaces and special characters.
    URL The application service URL.
    Description The description should provide information about the server. The description can contain special characters.
  3. Click Save.

Result

The server information is added, and the server appears on the list.
