You can delete a deployment area that is no longer needed. The software packages in that area will be removed as well.
Procedure

Log in to
Spotfire Server and click
Deployments & Packages.

In the "Deployment areas
" pane, select the check box in front of the deployment area you want to delete.
Note: It is not possible to delete the area that is set as the default deployment area.

In the "Deployment areas
" pane, click
Delete.
