Renaming a deployment area
You can rename any deployment area in your system.
Procedure
- Log in to Spotfire Server and click Deployments & Packages.
- In the "Deployment areas" pane, select the deployment area you want to rename.
- In the Information pane to the right, click Rename.

In the "Rename deployment area" dialog, enter a new name.
Note: Deployment area names are case insensitive and have a maximum length of 25 characters. These are the valid characters:
- a-z
- 0-9
- The underline character _
- The dash character -
- Click Rename.
