Changing height and width in tables

You can change row height and column width in tables and cross tables to better suit your content.

Procedure

  1. Place the mouse pointer between two rows or two columns in the table, where the mouse pointer changes appearance.
  2. Press and hold the mouse button while dragging the red line to adjust the row height or column width.

Tip: Press the Ctrl key simultaneously to adjust all the columns to the same width. The height of header rows are adjusted separately, while the data rows always get the same height.
  3. Release the mouse button at the desired height or width.
Tip: To optimize the use of screen estate with content kept visible, you can double-click the column divider to adapt the column width to the content. You can also define an exact column width in pixels, by clicking the header and specifying a Column width in the pop-up menu.
