The name of a data table is shown in all data table selectors and it is used as the default name in new table visualizations. If the original data table name is unclear, you may want to change it to a better name. Authors can rename data tables in the
Data canvas.
Prerequisites
You must have some data loaded in the analysis and the analysis must be in
Editing mode.
Procedure
On the authoring bar, click
Data canvas.
Make sure the data table of interest is selected in the upper-left drop-down list.
This step is only applicable if you have two or more data tables in the analysis.
On the data canvas toolbar, click
Rename.
In the popover, type a new name for the data table and click
OK.
