Importing a Spotfire Data File

The Import Spotfire workspace node imports a Spotfire data file (.sbdf) from the file path specified on the node and creates a downstream Statistica spreadsheet.

The Import Spotfire workspace node can be accessed from the Feature Finder, the ribbon bar, or the Node Browser.

Procedure

  1. Open a workspace.
  2. On the Data tab, in the Import/Export group, click Import Data, and select Import Spotfire from the menu to add node to the workspace.
  3. To open the Import Spotfire dialog box, double-click the Import Spotfire workspace node.
  4. Enter a fully qualified path to a Spotfire file and click OK. The Spotfire file could be on a file system or on Statistica Enterprise.
    Note: The Enterprise path must start with a forward slash, for example /Spotfire/Testing/xyz.sbdf.
  5. To import the Spotfire data file, click the Run to Node button on the workspace node.
    Note: You can find the parameter in the Search field. Currently, only one input parameter, Spotfire data file is associated with the Import Spotfire node.
    Note: You can export the node to a DMI file to support distribution using the Export node button.
