Server Task Set: Options
Expand the Monitoring and Alerting Server (MAS) node in Tree View and then expand the Server Task Sets node and the desired Task Set node, then select the Options node to display the Options properties page.
- Alarms and rules
- Options in this group box define how Statistica Enterprise executes taskset alarms.
- Use alarms not older than
- Select this check box and use the adjacent boxes to specify the maximum age of alarms that will be recognized.
- Process alarm rules against new alarms only
- Select this check box to ensure that only new alarms will result in alarm actions; this will prevent multiple/repetitive occurrences of the same alarm.
- Admin email address
- Enter the email address(es) of the individual(s) to be sent email notification of the occurrence of system alarms.
- Maximum time for tasks to run
- Specify the maximum amount of time for tasks to run before Statistica Enterprise stops them automatically. This feature is useful to prevent an 'endless loop' cycling of tasks based upon the expected reasonable time for the completion of this Task Set.
- Error handling
- Options in this group box determine how Statistica Enterprise handles MAS taskset errors.
- When a task execution fails, then Reschedule the task
- Selecting this option button will ensure that Statistica Enterprise reschedules the failed task to run in accordance with those scheduling parameters established in Server Task Set: Schedule.
- Stop the task
- Select this option button to ensure that Statistica Enterprise simply stops running the failed task and does not attempt to re-run/reschedule it.
