Server Task Set: Task Set View
Expand the Monitoring and Alerting Server node in Tree View and then expand the Server Task Sets node; from this point, the user can select the desired Task Set node to display the Task Set View dialog box, or right-click on the Server Task Sets node and select New Taskset to display the Task Set View dialog box to create a new Server Task Set.
- Name
- This box displays the name of the current taskset. If creating a new taskset, then enter the desired name in the Name box.
- Description
- This box displays a text description of the current Task Set. If creating a new taskset, then enter the desired description in the Text box.
- In use
- If selected, this check box indicates that the current Task Set is an active taskset for the Monitoring and Alerting Server (MAS).
- Tasks
- This window displays those tasks contained in the current Task Set.
- Add Task
- Click this button to display the Select Analysis Configuration dialog box to add tasks to the current taskset.
- Edit Task
- (Note: A task must be selected in the Tasks window for this button to be enabled) Click this button to display the Server QC Task View dialog box to edit the selected task.
- Delete Task
- (A task must be selected in the Tasks window for this button to be active) Click this button to delete the selected task from the current taskset.
- Alarm Rules
- This window displays those Alarm Rules specified for the current Task Set.
- Add Rule
- Click this button to display the Task Set Rule View dialog box to add rules to the current Task Set.
- Edit Rule
- (A rule must be selected in the Rules window for this button to be active) Click this button to display the Task Set Rule View dialog box to edit the selected rule.
- Delete Rule
- (A rule must be selected in the Rules window for this button to be active) Click this button to delete the selected rule from the current Task Set.
- System View Placement
- This window displays the current System View placement ( Where in the Tree View the current Task Set lies) for the current Task Set.
- Attach
- Click this button to display the Select a folder dialog box to place the current Task Set in the desired location in the tree view.
- Detach
- (A Task Set must already have a place in the tree view for this button to be active) Click this button to detach the selected Task Set from its current location in the Tree View.
Locate. Click this button to show the tree view folder to which the current Task Set is attached. The System View node in Tree View will expand (if necessary), and the cursor will briefly 'flash' between highlighting the folder to which the Task Set is attached and the Task Set itself.
- Access Permissions
- Click this button to display the Access Permissions View dialog box to specify User/Group permissions for this Task Set.
