Analysis Configuration: Specifications
Expand an Analysis Configuration node in the tree view. Depending upon which Characteristic you are setting specifications for, expand either the SPC Characteristics node or the Calculated Variables node, and then select Specifications to display the Specifications options in the properties page. Set either static or queried specifications for the respective Characteristic for use in Quality Control, Process Capability, and other analyses where specifications are utilized. Already existing specifications, their types, and their values (or the SQL table columns from which the values come) are shown in the top list of this dialog. Add. Click this button to display the Add/Edit specification dialog box to add a new specification. Edit. Select a specification to activate this button, and then click the button to display the Add/Edit specification dialog box to edit the selected specification. Remove. Select a specification to activate this button, and then click this button to remove the selected specification. Remove all. Click this button to remove all specifications. Specification SQL statement (optional). This box displays any SQL queries that exist for the already-existing specifications. You can also over-write any current SQL query with a new SQL query. SQL wizard. Click this button to display the Statistica Query dialog box to assist in creating a specification SQL query. You can cut and paste the created SQL query from the STATISTICA Query dialog box into the box above this button.

- Select this check box to place the static or queried specification values into a column in the resulting data file.
- Do not calculate control limits for the X chart
- Select this check box to not calculate the default control limits for the X-chart.
- Do not calculate control limits for the R chart
- Select this check box to not calculate the default control limits for the R chart.
