System Options: Data Entry
Note: Expand the System Options node in the tree view and select the Data Entry node to display the Data Entry options in the properties page. These options apply only to Web Data Entry.
- When creating a new Analysis Configuration based on a Data Entry Setup, automatically add "All" to the criteria for all Labels in the Data Entry Setup
- Select this check box to add all the values of the label to the criteria for all labels in the Data Entry Setup.
- URL for Sample Editing
- Enter a URL that will be used by the system in outbound emails. For example:
http://[server name]/dataentry
Replace [server name] with your server name.
- Retrieve all data for characteristics, independent of Data Entry setup
- This option is not a common use case. Typically, you will create one Characteristic and use it across many Data Entry Setups, and you will analyze the Characteristic data based on the Data Entry Setup (form). Therefore, this check box is usually cleared. Select this check box only if you are interested in analyzing Characteristics across all the Data Entry Setups.
- Prompt for electronic signature on sample completion
- When this check box is selected, the data entry person will be prompted for their login and password after clicking the Complete button in Web Data Entry.
- Prompt for electronic signature on sample approval
- When this check box is selected, the user who approves the data entered will be prompted for their login and password after clicking the Approve button in Web Data Entry.
- Default database connection for creating Data Configurations off Data Entry Setup
- A database connection for the Enterprise database must be created and entered in this text box.
