Defining Data: QC Specification

When a column is defined as a characteristic (variable, attribute, or aggregated attributed) target type, the Static Specs button is available on the Edit Target Properties dialog. Clicking this button displays the IQC Specifications (Static) dialog box, in which you can enter values for the specifications of the characteristic. The Static Specs button is also available when the Perform quality control analyses on this variable check box is selected in the Variable Definition dialog box. These specifications will be used in the calculations necessary for control charting and process capability analysis.
